Parallel Spring: Gyeongridan-gil

Where past and present quietly coexist

This piece is part of the Parallel Spring series, which captures layered moments across Seoul. Inspired by a walk through Gyeongridan-gil, it portrays an alley where eras blend into one hillside. Traditional hanok rooftops sit beside modern cafés. People from different times appear together, each going about their day in quiet parallel.

At the entrance, a black tiger walks by. Calm and steady, it moves like a silent guardian — watching over the lives, stories, and seasons that unfold in this shared space.

The work was initially composed using AI, then refined with hand-drawn elements to build depth, texture, and memory.

Part of the Seoul series. Created in Singapore. Open to global collaborations.
