Pink Dilemma

A quiet moment between two fluffy creatures

This piece features Fluffy and Bluey standing in a blooming garden under a soft, cloud-filled sky. Fluffy, the white one, holds a pink flower with hesitation. Bluey, the smaller blue one, waits quietly nearby. There’s no dialogue, just a feeling. “If I give this flower… will they smile?” The scene captures a small, familiar hesitation that comes with offering something with hope.

Artist’s Note

The phrase “pink dilemma” came from my two-year-old daughter. One day, I asked my two-year-old daughter, “What’s on your mind? Do you have any worries?” She thought for a moment and said, “Yes, I have a pink worry.” That moment stayed with me. This piece is my way of holding onto it, imagining what a pink worry might look like. It was created using a combination of AI and hand drawing, a process I often use to bring softness and story to imagined scenes.
